Please find 2 docs attached for betting on our weekender detailing players' odds in both the singles and pairs events.
One or two entrants have no prices attached as I have no handicap details or playing form, prices will be calculated closer to the event start.


Usual betting rules apply as follows:

No monies change hands prior to event, please fill out your betting slips and place them in the box. Stake money will be collected after play.
There is a maximum stake of £10 win only, Each Way is available also, maximum stake £5 each way.
No combination bets are available, you CANNOT have a win or E/W double on both events.
The bookmaker reserves the right to alter odds prior to play starting, this will not affect bets already placed.
Countback will decide placings.

Betting for the Singles event on Sun.

42 entrants

Favourites at 7/1 are Alex Gregory and Malcolm Ryder


Each way for this event is 1/4 odds places 1 - 4




Betting for the Pairs event on Mon.

21 pairings

Favourites at 6/1 are Alex Gregory/Malcolm Ryder and Alan Day/Colin Francis


Each way for this event is 1/4 odds places 1 - 3




Placing your bets

Please be honest (like your bookie!)
Write on your betting slip: bet placed by (your name), your selection (including both names if it's the pairs event), your stake (remember that there is a £10 limit) and bet type (win or E/W), a slip with no bet type will be taken as win only (Think The Sting movie!)

and finally - play your best yourself, I shall be expecting to see plenty of people backing themselves to win!

PS as agreement in place, any profits from this book are put back to the Captain and the Club's Committee to spend as they see fit, whether that be drinks all round, 'entertainments' or charitable donations etc etc
