5 bellies merry men humiliated

5 bellies theme of Committee men/former Captains were dealt a humiliating blow playing against the top club yesterday.
5-1 loss...yes that's correct 5-1with the only saving grace was from the inform pair of H. sweaty and slasher (boyne partners)winning 4&2.

Lonesome Al/ Artisan member...bashed
silverback/Summo.....embarrassed
Wee man/ Krankie 2 ....not at the races
H.sweaty/Slasher.....Dovetailed superbly with a 4&2 win.

To celebrate his big win H. Sweaty had one glass too many of the Shiraz
At the top club, but thankfully didn't fall asleep in the Top Club...I think!
Big Thanks to son of summo Jack for the lift home after more drinks at the Pavilion..at least I think it was him who drove me home!

5 bellies/Bhudda presented the top club with the Centenary Trophy which was warmly received.
Top club insisted of photo taken with all players...hopefully will get copy for the blog later.

Top club acting captain George mentioned the artisan nicknames in his speech which went down well! (Even the blog got a mention)
