SUNNINGDALE ARTISANS 2011 INTERCLUB CHALLENGE SUNDAY 10th JULY

Dear Mr. Secretary

 

As you are aware Sunningdale Artisans celebrated their 100th year in 2010 at which time we instigated the inaugural ‘Interclub Challenge’, which was won by the members of Farnham Artisans Golf Club. We would now like to invite two members of your club to participate in the 2011 ‘Interclub Challenge’ to be played on Sunday 10^th July at around 2pm, although the tee-off time is yet to be confirmed.

 

We will be inviting the same artisan clubs to join us as last year in what I am sure it will be a combination of good fun and healthy competition.

The format will remain the same as last year with two members from the invited clubs together with one member of SAGC to form a three ball. In addition SAGC will field a three ball to make seventeen teams in all.  It will be a stableford event with best two scores counting; the highest score will take the Interclub Challenge Trophy. We will also be providing food after the event, so no need to bring a picnic.

 

We hope you are able to join us on the day and participate in what we are hoping to make an annual event where we have representatives from many like minded artisans sections all in the one competition; I am sure it will prove to be a good fun day.

 

If you would be so kind as to let me know who will represent your club by the end of April that will be most helpful. Please address all correspondence to me personally as I have the privilege of putting this event together.
